Pretty cool, huh?

I keep honey bees in Reading, Bernville, and Fleetwood, PA without treatments. I love to garden and observe Wasps, Bumble bees, and ants. I also raise mealworms for my Eastern Spotted turtle and myself.

  1. That was awesome! I’ve caught plenty in my bait hives but ever had the pleasure of watching them move in like that. I’ve even pulled up a chair and gotten an iced tea and sat for hours when I have seen scouts. That’s definitely on my bucket list. 🙂

    1. It was strange. There were about a dozen scouts, then NOTHING. Then, BOOM. All within the span of about 30 minutes. I had been waiting about a week for this swarm to come down from a tree about 100 yards away.
